The Otomi No. 3 Story

Inspired by Otomi textile designs, this one of a kind Sculptural Firebowl features fanciful animals cut from curved steel and welded to the bowl as appliqué.

The figures cast amazing shadows when lit by the sun or by fire. As the flames flicker, enjoy a shadow puppet theatre projected by your firebowl.

The Otomi tapestries that inspired this firebowl design feature fantastic animals and plants cavorting in a fairy tale setting of magical realism. The roots of these images are cave paintings and healing artworks made by Otomi shamans from amate, a paper crafted from the bark of a fig tree.

Exclusive Originals are custom fire features that are true one-of-a-kind works of art. Each is an edition of one, and you are guaranteed to have the only fire sculpture like it. Every Original will feature completely different figures and decorations.

Dimensions:
- 37.75" Diameter, 28" high overall, base is 12" in diameter and 2" tall. Weight: 135 pounds.
Thickness:
- Cut from 1/4 inch steel, TEN TIMES thicker than mass-produced fire pits.
Material: Sculptural Firebowls are hand made from American made High-Strength, Low-Alloy, Cold-Rolled Steel.
A one inch hole in the bowl's center provides drainage and makes gas conversion simple.
Propane and Natural Gas options (sold separately):

Sculptural Firebowls are suitable for wood, propane or natural gas and ship ready-to-fit for clean-burning propane or natural gas.

Your Sculptural Firebowl arrives on a delivery truck with a lift gate. A two person team will unpack your firebowl, place it in your location of choice, assemble it for you and remove all packaging when finished.
